Eurobike is accelerating its strategic transformation with the launch of a new Advisory Board representing key global industry stakeholders. The initiative marks the starting point for a long-term repositioning aimed at strengthening the trade fair’s international leadership from 2027 onward.

Eurobike is entering a new phase. With the inaugural meeting of its newly established Advisory Board on February 23 in Frankfurt, organizer Fairnamic GmbH has formally begun the strategic repositioning of the world’s leading bicycle trade fair. The initiative brings together key stakeholders from across industry, retail, associations and service providers to shape the event’s future and reinforce its global relevance.
The creation of the board reflects broader structural shifts within the trade fair landscape. Stephan Kurzawski, member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH and Chairman of the Advisory Board, emphasizes the urgency of collective alignment: “During the discussions, it became very clear that many market participants are concerned about the increasing fragmentation of the trade fair landscape. This makes it all the more important to have a common vision for the industry – a strong, international platform that provides orientation and reliability.”
At its first meeting, eight representatives discussed the roadmap for Eurobike’s long-term transformation, with implementation set to begin in earnest from 2027. Among the topics on the table was the timing of future editions within the global trade fair calendar—an issue widely recognized as critical to maintaining international relevance and maximizing industry participation.
For Fairnamic, the Advisory Board represents more than a symbolic gesture. It is intended as a structural framework for continuous dialogue and strategic guidance. Philipp Ferger, Managing Director of Fairnamic GmbH, says: “Eurobike is at a strategic turning point. With the Advisory Board, we are creating a long-term framework for dialogue that brings together expertise, market insight and future-focused perspectives. Our aim is to reposition Eurobike from 2027 as the leading global trade fair for the bike and ecomobility universe. Eurobike 2026 is much more than a standard, compact trade show – it marks the beginning of a consistent reorientation.”
To support this process, Fairnamic will launch around 20 structured workshops with market participants from different segments, guided by an external strategy consultancy. The results will feed directly into the event’s future concept.
Eurobike 2026, scheduled for June 24–27 in Frankfurt, will serve as the first tangible milestone. Organizers report strong commitments from international brands, alongside new cost-efficient participation formats, targeted visitor campaigns and a more focused hall structure. Together, these measures are intended to sharpen the fair’s profile and lay the groundwork for Eurobike’s next chapter.
