The London-based design and marketing consultancy Conductor announced the opening of a new office in Taipei.

Conductor is part of Gruppo Media, the publisher of Rouleur and Rouleur Live, and has a long history of working with premium cycling and outdoor brands. Last year, Conductor expanded into asset creation with Conductor Productions, and the opening of the new office further strengthens Gruppo Media’s strategic positioning in global cycling media and marketing. Jonathan Davies, co-founder of Conductor, will be relocating to Taipei following Eurobike to head up the new team.
Why Taipei? The region has long been an epicenter of cycling innovation and manufacturing. “The cycling and mobility industries are evolving fast, and Asia continues to play a central role in that evolution,” Davies said. “Being based here allows us to be closer to the industry, providing deeper support and faster solutions for our clients.” Asia is rapidly becoming the world’s largest consumer market for cycling products, and Gruppo Media has recently signed an agreement with Titan Media Group to launch a joint venture that will publish Rouleur in Chinese and champion the growth of cycling culture across China. With the Asian consumer market exploding, more and more Asian companies are offering direct-to-consumer models to directly serve Europe and other markets.
The new Taipei office serves as a hub for Chinese-speaking businesses looking to expand their brand presence internationally, and it also supports international brands looking to access the Asian market. It will offer a comprehensive suite of services, including brand strategy, design, marketing, PR and digital growth. Even before the official opening, Conductor started collaborating with Asia-based clients and cultivating strong ties within the regional cycling community. The Taipei office deepens these relationships, anchoring Conductor’s commitment to building lasting partnerships.
For Gruppo Media, the launch of the new office represents not just geographical expansion, but a broader evolution. “Conductor’s arrival in Asia and the recent launch of Rouleur China mark significant milestones in our global growth strategy,” said Matteo Cassina, Chairman of Gruppo Media. “With its deep market insight and creative excellence, Conductor strengthens our presence in Asia and enhances the value we bring to partners worldwide.”
“This expansion is a key milestone in our mission to support ambitious cycling brands and manufacturers in Asia, while helping global brands achieve meaningful success in this rapidly growing market,” Davies added. “We see ourselves not just as a creative marketing agency, but as a cultural bridge. From Taipei to Tokyo, London to L.A., we’re here to help brands thrive across borders.”
