Fairnamic GmbH, the Eurobike joint venture of Messe Friedrichshafen and Messe Frankfurt, is reshuffling its leadership at a pivotal moment for the industry. From 1 January 2026, Messe Frankfurt executive Philipp Ferger will lead the company alongside Stefan Mittag, with further operational roles set to follow.

Eurobike’s organiser is tightening its leadership structure ahead of the 2026 show and a bigger concept reset from 2027 onward. Fairnamic GmbH says the change is designed to steer the trade fair through “challenging times” for the bike market—while bringing exhibitors, associations and international networks closer into the decision-making process.
New leadership duo from January 1st 2026
From January 1st 2026, Philipp Ferger (Vice President Consumer Goods Fairs at Messe Frankfurt) will take over management of Fairnamic GmbH together with Stefan Mittag from Messe Friedrichshafen. The company also plans to strengthen operational management with two additional roles: an Authorized Representative and a Show Director—both described as close to being filled, with details to be announced separately.
Ferger’s appointment marks a handover from Stefan Reisinger, who has been central to shaping Fairnamic since its founding in 2021. Reisinger will remain involved during a transition phase to support the teams and the new managing director.
Concept changes: 2026 in focus, 2027 and beyond under review
Fairnamic says the new leadership is already working on conceptual adjustments for Eurobike 2026, and “especially” for editions from 2027 onwards. Those discussions are set to run in close consultation with market participants, experienced Eurobike colleagues in Friedrichshafen and Frankfurt, and with industry associations. A newly established trade fair advisory board is due to hold its first meeting at the beginning of 2026, aiming to embed key industry representatives and major exhibitors more directly into Eurobike’s strategic development.
“With Philipp Ferger, we have been able to secure a strong communicator as trade show manager during these challenging times, who will future-proof the trade. This is to be achieved in close cooperation with leading players and associations in the international bike industry,” said Stephan Kurzawski, Senior Vice President Consumer Goods, Automotive and Textile Shows at Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.
“Philipp Ferger is a highly enthusiastic individual with many years of leadership experience and a clear focus on the road ahead. He will be able to rely on Messe Frankfurt’s international sales network, with 29 subsidiaries and more than 50 sales partners in around 180 countries, which is already ready to roll and actively support him. For all of us, Eurobike is one of the most attractive events in Frankfurt and has great international appeal,” Kurzawski continued.
Who is Philipp Ferger?
Ferger, 40, joined Messe Frankfurt in 2009 and has held several management roles. Since 2019, he has been Vice President Consumer Goods Fairs, overseeing management, sales and strategic development of major consumer goods trade shows (including Ambiente). Fairnamic notes he was part of a management duo that repositioned fairs after the coronavirus pandemic. He is also managing director of nmedia GmbH, a Messe Frankfurt strategic investment operating a digital B2B order and data management platform—Ferger will step down from that role on 31 December 2025 to focus on Fairnamic.
The next Eurobike Frankfurt runs from June 24th to 27th. Fairnamic also pointed to Eurobike’s international offshoots: Jakarta has hosted an edition since 2024, and an event is planned for Istanbul next year alongside the motorcycle show Motobike.
