As bicycles and e-bikes become staples of urban mobility, Eurobike is widening its lens. At the 2025 show in Frankfurt, small electric vehicles—scooters, cargo bikes, micro-cars, and mopeds—move closer to center stage under the banner of Ecomobility.

This year’s edition, running June 25–29, devotes an expanded Hall 8 to the category, combining exhibitor showcases with live demos and professional programming. The emphasis is squarely on practical applications: vehicles for logistics providers, families, care workers, and local governments.

“Whether for families, care services, dealers, fleet managers, or municipalities: with our growing range of manufacturers and vehicles in the Ecomobility segment, we are demonstrating more use cases for both private and commercial applications,” said Stefan Reisinger, Managing Director at Eurobike organizer fairnamic GmbH. “The young Ecomobility sector is showing its commitment to our platform, which we take as a signal of its market potential.”

Around 30 brands—including Aixam, Treibwerk, and Bayk—will present vehicles tailored for commercial and civic use. Many will be available for testing in the outdoor Demo Area, reflecting the hands-on nature of the sector.

Policy engagement is also deepening. The 6th National Cargo Bike Logistics Conference takes place on-site June 26, organized by Cargobike.jetzt and supported by the RLVD and the Hessian Ministry for Economic Affairs. That same day, an industry workshop will explore regulatory, safety, and retail challenges for what Germans call Feinmobilität—lightweight, purpose-built urban transport.

A follow-up “Ecomobility Talk” on June 27 brings in voices from logistics and craft sectors. The weekend then shifts to broader audiences: the new “Ecomobility For You” series features family- and commuter-focused mobility solutions, with real-world users sharing their experience.

Taken together, the expanded footprint signals that Eurobike no longer sees itself merely as a bike show. As cities look for cleaner, more space-efficient transport options, Ecomobility is shaping up not as an add-on—but as the next core category.
