Mobifuture: Eurobike to Launch Sister Event for Green Mobility

Starting in 2026, trade show organizer fairnamic will introduce a new event focused exclusively on urban and eco-mobility solutions, held alongside Eurobike in Frankfurt. The move responds to growing criticism from performance brands while tapping into the rising potential of micromobility.

Once a performance-focused tradeshow in Friedrichshafen, Eurobike has evolved into a leading international fair for sustainable mobility. But this broader scope has come at a cost: several high-profile performance brands such as SRAM, Scott Sports, and Fox have decided to skip the show this year.

At the same time, it’s become clear that a bicycle-focused tradeshow isn’t always the best platform for micromobility solutions that go beyond bikes—such as e-scooters, cargo vehicles, and light electric transport. To better reflect these diverging needs, tradeshow organizer fairnamic will launch a new event starting in 2026: Mobifuture. Held at the same time and place as Eurobike in Frankfurt, Mobifuture will serve as a dedicated space for all things eco-mobility.

“Some mostly sports-oriented exhibitors have called for a return to the show’s original sports and lifestyle format. At the same time the eco-mobility topic has a lot of growth potential and still has no dedicated trade show, so we want to change that,” fairnamic’s CEO Stefan Reisinger explains. “Messe Frankfurt offers plenty of space to run both Eurobike and Mobifuture simultaneously as tailored platforms on the fair grounds, with separate test tracks as well, and add to the experience of both exhibitors and visitors.”

This dual approach is intended to enhance the experience for both exhibitors and visitors, while offering a more focused platform for their respective sectors. Fairnamic used this year’s Eurobike to gather feedback on the idea. More concrete details about Mobifuture’s concept, structure, and exhibitor focus will be released ahead of the 2026 edition. The goal: to provide the sport and urban mobility segments with dedicated environments—and strengthen the relevance of both.

The 34th Eurobike and the first edition of Mobifuture will take place from 24 to 28 June 2026 at Messe Frankfurt.
