Following the success of the recently introduced Sports & Performance Area and the E-Cycling Area, Eurobike 2025 will increasingly focus on the outdoor audience. Yesterday, a new Adventure Area was announced, set to combine the trending topics of biking, leisure, sports, camping, and outdoor lifestyle.
“With the former Outdoor Show in Friedrichshafen, we can look back on many years of experience in the outdoor sector,” Stefan Reisinger told SHOW DAILY. “Given the growing overlaps between the cycling and outdoor worlds in recent years, it was only logical for us to now bring this area into Eurobike,” Reisinger added.
A meeting place for bicycle and outdoor enthusiasts
The new Adventure Area is already prominently featured on the Eurobike website, where it’s described as a “meeting place for all those who are active in the worlds of bike & outdoor.” Reisinger clarifies, “That doesn’t mean we’ll be showcasing extreme outdoor activities like ice climbing at Eurobike—there are other platforms for that. We focus on topics like bikepacking, adventure racing, bike travel, tents, sleeping bags, and the like. Many companies now operate in both worlds—both cycling-focused businesses and those rooted in the outdoor industry.”
Reisinger was not yet willing to share specifics on the size of the new section or the expected number of exhibitors from the outdoors world. However, the response to the announcement has already been very positive, according to the Eurobike CEO.
